A Michael Johnson
A Michael Johnson, AIA of AM Johnson Architects has been practicing architecture since the early 1980s with a focus on innovative design and client-centered solutions. Establishing roots in the Naples area from 1990 onwards, his commitment to excellence and creativity has shaped a lasting legacy in the local architectural landscape.
He pursued his passion for architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, School of Architecture, earning a comprehensive degree in the field. Following his graduation, he dedicated valuable time to Schroeder Architects in New Jersey, a reputable medium-sized Princeton area architectural firm, where he continued to hone his skills and expertise.
In 1990, Michael relocated to Naples, FL and worked for a local high end custom home developer and gained practical experience in both architecture and construction as the Director of Design.
In 1999, Michael transitioned into a principal role within the firm of Schroeder/Perez/Johnson, where he oversaw operations in the Florida studio. Within the Naples office, Michael held the esteemed position of the sole designer and architect, steering key projects with his expertise and vision.
In 2003, he decided to part ways with his New Jersey partners and establish AM Johnson Architects, setting up design studios in both Naples, Florida, and Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
